We're always on the lookout for donations. Put what you've got to good use! Donate it to HacDC!

E-mail info@hacdc.org if you have questions about specific items that do not appear here, or to arrange specific donation times. Otherwise, please stop by any of our public events with your donations!

When you cross something off the wishlist because it has been acquired by HacDC, please add it to Inventory!

Equipment

Power Tools

  • Circular saw
  • Soldering Irons
  • 3/8" VSR Drill (in good working order plzkthx!)
  • Shop-Vac accessories
  • Dust-collector type equipment for woodworking
  • Step drillbits
  • Heat gun (I brought one in. -- Elliot.)
  • SDS rotary hammer (just for a few weeks)

Hand Tools

  • Screwdrivers

  • Pana-Vise (These show up on eBay all the time! The 376 and 315 heads would be most useful, but any Panavise equipment is good to have around. If you bid on an eBay auction, edit this page and note your eBay ID here so others know not to bid against you!)

Note: Test equipment that pushes data via USB or Serial to a computer is preferred.

Furniture

  • Any wheeled shelving or carts with dimensions smaller than (32"Hx64"WX30"D). This will fit under our tables.
  • Any tall shelving, approx 24-36"Wx18"Dx72"H.
  • Plastic bins, boxes, trays, the sturdier the better. Clear?
  • Dry-erase board (we built this ourselves)
  • Pull-down movie screen (as above)
  • Comfortable chairs (Office or other, but small please; floor space is at an absolute premium!)
  • Stepstool
  • Ladder

  • Ethernet Cables (very funny! we're swimming in 'em!)
  • RJ45 jacks, couplers, and patch panels
