HacDC ARC second annual Field Day June 28-29, 2014

HARC will be participating in the 2014 ARRL Field Day from Saturday,28 JUN 2014 at 1400L until Sunday, 29 JUN 2014 at 1400L. HARC's Field Day will be held at HacDC, 1525 Newton St. NW. Detailed location/contact info at: We can also be contacted on 146.550 (simplex) during the and will be visible on APRS as W3HAC.

Field Day is a "contest" that entails contacting as many other participating Amateur Radio Stations. The emphasis is practicing communications in emergency situations and getting prospective or new hams on the air.

All are invited to drop by at any time during the event to check it out, get on the air, hang out, or see HacDC. We are planning to be there the whole 24 hour period (and setup/breakdown before/after) but go ahead and contact us at 202-556-4225 (phone at HacDC) or 146.550.
